In 2006 Brussels based agency LG&F, one of the better agencies in Belgium, opened an Amsterdam office. In 2008 the names of both agencies – Amsterdam and Brussels – were changed into Rich & Famous respectively. Today Brussels pulls the plug from the Amsterdam office. According to CEO Mark Fauconnier (the F in LG&F), Rich hasn’t been able to create a financially sound business model – which basically means they weren’t getting rich. Now Famous is going to create an alliance with one of the best agencies in Amsterdam; N=5. Both agencies became ‘agency of the year’ in 2010, so theoretically a logical choice.
