Arnold has appointed Paul Stechschulte as Executive Creative Director to lead the Amsterdam office. He replaces Sean Thompson, who left the agency in September for personal reasons. Art Director by trade, Stechschulte, most recently served as ECD at Pereira & O’Dell in San Francisco. Prior to that he was Group Creative Director at Goodby Silverstein & Partners. Additionally Stechschulte served in various creative roles at W+K Amsterdam, 180 Amsterdam, and Crispin Porter + Bogusky in Miami. Stechschulte is known – among other things – for reintroducing the MINI brand in the US without a single television ad – quite daring in the US automobile category. Alongside Stechschulte, Arnold also recently hired Peter Johnson as Group Creative Director (coming from LBi New York), Craig Miller as CD (coming from VCCP), and Erik Enberg also as CD (coming from Butler Shine Stern & Partners).
