We & Claes Iversen

October 31, 2012, AAB

We is the Dutch H&M – though qualitatively better and less fashionable. So with ‘some’ delay it also asked a well known (Dutch) fashion designer to create a special collection for them. Not Karl Lagerfeld, but Claes Iversen. Lernert & Sander – becoming world famous with their melting chocolate bunnies – created this film to promote the collection. It’s a bit cryptic, but Maarten Le Roy from production agency Wrong (a brand new production label belonging to Brussel based monodot) explained to us that Lernert & Sander didn’t want to show the collection itself to make it more desirable. And that the film symbolizes the difficulty of creating a new collection. The model in the film was Iversen himself. We hope the collection is just as fashionable as the film.

Nice but yes very cryptic indeed (and good you told me it symbolizes the difficulty of creating a collection! )

I love it, a tad weird but it develops into something strong. I rather consume this as a viewer instead of silly supermarket commercials!
