Last Tuesday, on the United Children’s Day, Unicef Netherlands launched the “We Believe in Zero” campaign, kicking off with 19.000 pairs of children’s eyes shown on huge LCD screens wrapped around the Amsterdam Ziggo Dome. Every 4.5 seconds one of these children closed the eyes. According to the press release every year 19,000 children die because they are deprived of things like vaccinations, mosquito nets and clean drinking water. Unicef believes that this amount can be brought back to zero. Though quite ambitious, this outdoor ad seems a good start to get some attention. Created by Roorda.
