Prince Willem Alexander is turning King on the 30th of April. We don’t really care, but this concept (Polonaise for the King) by Wefilm and Mobypicture makes us almost want to join the “polonaise” – a Dutch tradition of celebrating something together, walking in a long line, putting your hands on the shoulders of the person in front you. After having recorded your part with a mobile, tablet, or webcam, you can upload it on the website, so that it becomes part of the virtual polonaise. We all know it has been done before with the Eternal Moonwalk, by Mortierbrigade for Studio Brussels, paying a tribute to Michael Jackson and winning a golden Lion (Direct) in Cannes. But we’re sure it’ll be a big hit.
