Digital production agency Thispagecannotbefound launched a new agency; Das Banner. It seems that by referring to German and Volkswagen (“Das Auto”) the new brand wants a solid image. Das banner will specialize in high quality banners for every kind of screen. By doing so Thispage wants to put the banner on a pedestal again. Partner Edward Tetteroo: “Banners are perceived as annoying and inferior forms of communication. Though many banners are indeed not very well designed, we believe in the power of the banner. They are becoming more and more advanced, some of them almost turning into small apps.” Speaking of which, the agency is also working on a new agency named L’App. This label will participate in mobile concepts and startups.
