Next week, on November 7th, the 24 hours of advertising will take place in the Beurs van Berlage. An event not to miss for the Amsterdam ad community. We already wrote about the keynote speakers and we can now tell you a little more about the program. The Cannes Lions Print Exhibition will showcase award-winning print work from this year’s Festival. The expo is open for everyone (even if you don’t have a ticket for the 24 Uur) from 9 – 22h. The event also hosts a Second Screen Competition in which five teams will develop a second screen solution for a RTL television format – within 24 hours. The winning team will be awarded the ‘Second Screen Award 2013.’ The project is an initiative of IAB (Interactive Advertising Bureau Nederland). Then there is the MKB Marathon; 50 of the best creatives and strategists giving advice to small business for free. Finally, in the evening (from 8pm till 10pm), there is The Cannes Lions Show, hosted by Kerrie Finch: a talkshow (Adformatie in conversation with Cannes Lions organizers and guests), a gameshow (Old Dogs vs Young Lions), and industry celebs introducing their wins from the showreel.
