No matter who you are, no matter what you do, wherever you live, or what language you speak, we are all united in time.

This truism introduces “The Human Clock,” a social experiment We Are Pi created to announce the TEDxAmsterdam 2014 Conference. The clock wants to shine a light on human diversity by bringing together as many faces from across the globe as possible to be part of an ever-evolving digital clock. The goal is to reach 24 hours worth of one-second portraits from around the world and thus celebrate humanity’s differences.

To become part of the Human Clock you can take or upload a photo on www.thehumanclock.org.

The film was directed by Mees Peijnenburg and photographer Maeve Stam (both 100% Halal). The website was built by MediaMonks.
