It’s that time of the year; award-entry-deadline-season. Which is why has released a compilation of the interviews, they did last year with some Amsterdam based ad professionals who give their view on the different aspects of the casefilm. was founded by Geert Ploeger and Roderick Frencken and supports agencies with creating the ultimate casefilm. The idea was born when Ploeger, freelance art director, noticed that many people asked him: “do you know where I can get my casefilm produced.” Ploeger immediately thought of Frencken, from DutchFilmHouse, with whom he had recently done a job. Ploeger: “Then on a summer night in 2011, we ate a steak in a bar and wrote our businessplan in a one-pager.” The rest is history.

How’s the business going, we asked Ploeger: “Very well. Initially we thought that we would only be busy around the award-deadlines, but we now get requests all year round. After all, agencies also use casefilms in presentations and new business meetings.” Does that mean that it’s becoming a full time job? “Well, not really, it means we’re hiring project managers, cause our credo is ‘work on your business, not in your business’

Ploeger and Frencken practice what they preach, cause in the meantime they started two more labels; Sasuga (to sell animations and infographics) and Budgetfilms, respectively.
