ING launched a campaign on Schiphol airport, called “World, here I come” to position itself as a bank that empowers people to stay a step ahead in life and in business.
One of the assets is a set of posters featured in the air-bridges. With a simple photo passengers can save the highlights (tips on what to see and do) of some key travel destinations (such as London, Paris, Istanbul, New York, Tokyo, etc.).
To make the posters ING’s agency, United State of Fans\TBWA, asked ten local artists from each of the featured cities to create an illustration reflecting the city, which gives every city a different look and feel. USoF for example asked Supersonic, a Shanghai based designer, Parisian designer Alexandre Godreau, who’s part of the 100 designers to follow on Behance, Kristopher Ho from Hong Kong who is widely known for his intricate detail, and London’s Charlie Davis, featured in Illustration Served.
