In advertising a joke that has got nothing to do with the product is usually a bad idea. But when the joke consists of turning a digital banner into a physical one, so that people actually look at it (even those who play in the commercial), you at least make a point about the effectiveness of banners.
And, of course, you’ll probably also sell a bunch of McDonald’s ‘Euroknallers’ (‘Euro bangs’).
