The first ‘model agency for plants’ opened its doors in the Amsterdam Pijp. What?! Yes, that’s what we thought. It’s a pop-up agency where 23 “super models can be booked for free”. The plants can be used for shoots and productions for those who work in the media and advertising industry. Each model has a name – such as Nar (cis) and Beau (carnia) – and some relevant specs.

Of course the shop was opened with a DJ and bubbles and (hopefully) lots of free publicity – to raise awareness within the fashion and interior scene about the beauty and warmth of plants.

Created by The Gardeners – a pure coincidence – for the Dutch flower council.
