Absolute professional

We’re not sure whether it’s because a leading brand in consumer electronics has joined the surfing arena or whether surfing is just becoming more popular – probably a bit of both – but the heroic sport is now producing blockbuster commercials (a few months ago we also featured a high value around-the-world production sponsored by… More.

A sound walk

The last work we featured from Google and 72andSunny was a classic case of storytelling, through a series of films about French people making their dreams come true with Google’s help. Now Google Creative Lab and 72andSunny have taken things one step further; they introduced a Promenade Sonore, a ‘sound walk’ through Marseille, at night. This… More.

This film, supporting the Paralympic Winter Games, also held in Sochi this year, is quite impressive. Makes you admire handicapped sportsmen, rather than pity them. The fantastic shots, together with the copy “What’s your problem? Sport doesn’t care,” could have easily made it a Nike campaign. But it isn’t; it’s for Samsung. Hence the somewhat… More.

Make your life your dream

This film shows that a good advertising proposition easily helps to kick off the creative process. That is, reversed engineered, it sounds like the proposition in this briefing was: ‘Google makes dreams come true.’ And, yes, very tempting to crack a joke about the NSA now – especially since this guy is learning to fly… More.
