Muse was founded in 2005 by Michael Littaur and Sander Ejlenberg. And it quite quickly has become a serious player in the Amsterdam advertising market. To describe Muse, you simply need to listen to their pay-off: “an agency with a digital heart and analogue soul.” This does sound like the best of both worlds. And when judging their work, we have to say they live up to it. The agency is known for its innovative approach, but never forgets advertising start with a strong consumer insight. Its biggest successes so far are the shopping app for grocer Albert Heijn – winning a golden Spin award for Innovation – and their 3D projection for Samsung – winning a Webby and Silver Lion in Cannes in 2011.
